Morzine. Getting here
Getting you and your party to the slopes as quickly and safely as possible is our main priority here at Ski Chamois. The quickest and easiest way to travel here is by using one of the low cost airlines which flies direct to Geneva airport. Once at the airport we can arrange a pickup service which will bring your party to Hotel Les Chamois. However there are a number of alternative ways for you to travel to Morzine, these are listed below.
Morzine is located 600 km from Paris, and 200 km from Lyon in the Haute Savoie region of France mid-way between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva.
By Plane
A large number of Airlines fly in to Geneva from right across the UK so It should be easy for you to find a suitable flight. Please visit the official Geneva airport website or select an airline below to check available flights for your selected dates:
The Genève Cointrin Airport is approximately 75 km from Morzine so once you reach the airport you will need to arrange a transfer. This can either be arranged directly with Ski Chamois at the time of booking or you may wish to take advantage of the regular winter season bus service operated from Geneva airport by www.altibus.com. Of course taxi transfers can also be arranged also but these tend to be more expensive.
By Coach
Ski Chamois no longer operates its overnight coach service as we feel low cost airlines offer a quicker and more cost efficient way for you to get to us but for large groups a coach transfer can be arranged. Please contact our sales office if you would like to discuss your party size and travel needs in more detail.
By Rail
There are 3 train stations close to Morzine (Thonon-les-Bains, Geneva and Cluses). The station of Thonon-les-Bains (33 km from Morzine) is the station we most frequently use as a pickup point for guests preferring to travel via train. The TGV service also runs daily to Geneva and Cluses and pick-ups can be arranged from these stations if needed.

By Car
A number of our guests prefer to drive to our location in the French Alps and take in the sights on the way. Morzine is well serviced by roads and Motorways and the nearest major motorway exit is at Cluses on the A40 Motorway.
